What this opportunity involves:
You’ll be one of the important faces of GIS for the growing Australian business! This position is instrumental in the continuation of applying and demonstrating spatial analysis and GIS technology for JLL Australia. This will involve assisting the Enterprise GIS Manger in the application of GIS to business-wide functions in Australia, particularly to Valuations.

The role will be a point of contact for GIS services and training for Public Sector Valuations. The production and maintenance of quality GIS datasets and applications to the business will be of highest importance which will subsequently expand the use of GIS within JLL Australia.

In this busy and diverse role, you’ll be responsible for:
Create and maintain web and mobile mapping applications

Perform data mining exercises and geospatial analysis for desired internal/external client outcome

Training end users on the global MapIT program (ArcGIS Online), ArcGIS Collector and other adopted platforms

Provide support to short and long term projects and programs with direction from PSV directors and GIS Manager

Delivery of geospatial data, cartographic products and other various outputs to meet specific business and client needs.

Ability to deploy high quality mapping applications for desktop and mobile use

Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with applications and data

Demonstrated knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS platform

Ability to work closely with the team as well as independently

Analytical skills to enable the application of GIS tools to solve/answer business questions

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present examples of GIS applications to non-technical internal and external stakeholders

A relevant tertiary qualification in geospatial technologies or demonstrated experience in a similar role
