About the role
The Shared Services Supervisor role will lead the detailed planning scope throughout the planning lifecycle. This position is a Gladstone residential role and will be based on one of our existing LNG Maintenance Contracts.
About you
Key accountabilities for this role are as follows:
  • Rigging, Cranes and Scaffolding
  • Insulation, Cladding and Lagging
  • Painting and Blasting
  • Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
  • The role will be a key contributor for communicating estimates, materials and resources requirements. The role will provide advice on activity steps with associated duration and resources estimates
  • The role will define requirements and liaise with the subcontractors in securing resources for the execution of the planned scope
  • The role will lead the delivery of the scope execution by providing support, identifying and communicating priorities, addressing technical queries, managing permit adjustments, resolution of any associated emergent work and supporting job package closeout
  • The role also provides a key interface to the maintenance management by providing a summary of progress, and raising issues, concerns and risks to management where necessary
  • The role is required to liaise continuously with functional groups of HSE, Engineering, Quality and Operations to ensure the execution of the works within the duration period
  • Consequently, it is key that the role is effective in building relationships, collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Relevant Trade or Professional Qualification
  • Relevant High-Risk Work Licence and demonstrated experience (RA, SA & Crane preferred)
  • Construction Awareness White Card
  • C Class Drivers’ License

Desirable/Preferred Skills

  • 5 -10 Years’ experience as a Supervisor of multi-discipline teams
  • Maritime security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • National Accredited Working at Heights
  • National Accredited Confined Space
  • Gas detection trained. (3 yearly)
  • Senior First Aid certified. (3 yearly)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified (Annual updated)
  • Breathing Apparatus trained and certified
  • Working knowledge of Computers
  • Working Knowledge of Permit to Work Systems
  • Experienced in the use of process flow diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), schematics, piping drawings, fabrication drawings, isometrics, equipment datasheets, sketches, charts, etc.
  • LNG or related industry maintenance experience
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP and the Microsoft suite of applications
