The Opportunity

Our dynamic and highly respected industry team is seeking an experienced Motor Claims Assessor within our Operations & Acquisitions department. The role requires a proven track record within Motor Claim Assessment.

You will need to demonstrate

  • Strong knowledge of automotive and insurance industry
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of claims process.
  • Genuine knowledge and interest in the automotive industry
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Road Rules
  • High level of personal presentation
  • Strong motivation to achieve targets
  • Ability to build lasting business relationships
  • Great time management and organisational skills

As the Claims Assessor, you will be required to

  • Provide our clients with outstanding experience when lodging a claim for a rental vehicle, working to consistently provide service that exceeds customer’s expectations
  • Complete Motor accident assessments
  • Liaise with external Service Providers and Insurance companies
  • Validate and verify information provided to qualify the customers
  • Work autonomously and also be part of our team
  • Manage a caseload of claims
  • Work closely with both Fleet Operations and Collections & Recoveries teams

Desired Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong background within the Motor Claims Assessment space and have extensive knowledge of the Claims Process within Motor Insurance. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Claims Assessment role
  • Motor Insurance
  • Road Rules Knowledge and Experience
  • Outstanding phone etiquette
  • You will have strong computer literacy and possess an understanding of relevant Industry Legislation
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
