JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a mobile motorcycle detailing business having been established for a number of years. We are now expanding and require a casual employee to assist. We frequently handle all facets of detailing, including Harley Davidsons, Indians, Triumphs, right through to Honda Groms and trikes!
We operate on bookings and work Monday - Sunday between 8.00am to 5.00pm.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Setting up a safe work space
- Paint correction & polishing, metal/alloy/chrome polishing, safe wash methods
- Physical handling of motorcycles
- Working alone and ensuring that workspace is safe at all times for both the customer and yourself
- Processing payments via Eftpos and Xero
- Reporting directly to Manager any issues that may arise
- Ensuring there is sufficient stock levels at all times
To be considered you must have the following skills and attributes:
- To represent the business and act in a professional manner at all times
- Be well presented and groomed appropriately
- A keen eye for detail
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Written and Verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Be flexible and available at short notice
- Have availability on the weekends with a view to expanding to week days
- Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance
- Able to fluently use a smartphone and operate word documents, shared drives etc
Job Type: Casual employee
To be successful in this role, you will have the following: A genuine passion for the motorcycle industry and motor vehicles. Previous experience detailing is essential.
Required
- Full licence and reliable transport
- Maximum of 45 minutes travel to clients based on Brisbane City postcode 4000
- A confidentiality agreement & non solicit contract to be signed
- Detailing experience (1 year minimum)
- Prior exposure to the motorcycle industry
