JOB DESCRIPTION

The Deputy Registrars will oversee and manage the day to day operations of the Registries and be pivotal in the transformation of registry services and practices from paper based to digital and online support services in line with the implementation of the new Electronic Court Management System.

The successful applicants will have demonstrated leadership and management skills, highly developed analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interpret and apply legislation. They will have proven capacity to lead and motivate staff in a changing environment and work collaboratively across the organisation.

Special Conditions

  • Appointment is under the Courts Administration Authority Act, 1993 with the terms and conditions of employment governed by the Public Sector Act, 2009.
  • This role is identified as Prescribed Position, the successful applicant is therefore required to obtain a Working with Children Check prior to employment with the CAA, which must be renewed every five years before expiry. A current DHS child-related employment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires. WWCC's can be obtained through the DHS Screening website .
  • Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate the CAA finds satisfactory.
  • There are multiple roles available to be filled on an ongoing and temporary basis.

ASO6 - $92,784 to $98,143 pa
