The Communications Executive role delivers a diverse portfolio of projects including management and delivery of content creation (online and publications), Internal Communications strategy and execution as well as public relations activity. This role works collaboratively across many departments to ensure a strategic and cohesive roll out of information to the business.

This role also works closely with the PR Executive on end to end execution of public relations opportunities, PR events and media monitoring. The role will also support the wider communications team in areas of opportunity with a particular focus on copywriting. Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager across pillars of content creation, industry trend tracking, award submissions and editorial reporting. Ideally suited to someone who is keen to work across multiple areas of communications this role will provide support across projects involving research, reporting, presentations, submissions and pitches.

Role requirements to meet the position objective

  • Communications and/or marketing, ideally within travel/leisure industry, demonstrating solid PR, brand marketing and content creation skills
  • Solid content and magazine experience with a thorough understanding of online publications and video content principles
  • High attention to detail with strong copy writing and proof reading skills
  • Strong creative / communications skills 
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent analytical capability to drive continual efficiencies and performance from campaigns and initiatives 
  • Insights experience including customer research, analysis, reporting and presentation of results to stakeholders.
  • Experience in identifying & influencing customer experience improvement online and offline 

Skills & Experience

  • Degree level education in communications, marketing or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in communications, content or similar role
  • Previous experience in managing publications (or similar) end-to-end projects
  • Experience in content marketing campaign conceptualisation, design and production
  • Strong budget management experience
  • Copywriting experience
  • Experience with Sales Force Marketing Cloud advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Experience with Sharepoint advantageous, but not mandatory
