JOB DESCRIPTION

APT Travel Group is undergoing a transformation from the inside out. It builds on our proud history and re-sets our business for a successful future. As we embark on this ambitious omni-channel transformation, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all campaign activity for their selected product lines. 

Campaign activities include APT, Travelmarvel and TravelGlo customer acquisition, conversion and retention through multi-channel media strategies, major brand campaigns and, tactical campaigns. This role has total campaign ownership and involves working closely with all areas of Marketing and Digital to deliver a truly omni-channel approach to all marketing activity.

The role is the champion of their selected product lines and is a key marketing contact and partner of the associated Product Manager/s. This involves keeping up-to-date with key product trends, competitor analysis, business priorities and release schedules. You will be the key champion to share product knowledge with the rest of the Marketing and Digital team to ensure we are all abreast and kept up to date. 

Knowledge, skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in campaign execution and budgeting
  • Solid Brand and Advertising experience with a thorough understanding of brand, above the line and digital marketing principles
  • Experience managing a broad and diverse set of stakeholders, setting expectations with stakeholders and working collaboratively at multiple levels of the organisation to get things done
  • Analytical thinker to ensure ongoing optimisation of all marketing plans against business goals.
  • Delivering overarching product marketing Plans
  • Budget management and a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong creative / communications skills with the ability to autonomously direct agencies and vendors 

Qualifications

  • Required: Degree level in business or marketing discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing
  • Expert in marketing campaign conceptualisation, design and production
  • Natural talent for identifying and delivering new and innovative solutions to existing business needs.
  • Experience and an understanding consumer behaviour and how to solve customer needs
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • Budget management and allocation
