Role Details

The Wine Packaging Technician plays an integral role in delivering the world class level of automation and quality to Methode Traditionale manufacturing and super premium still wine through creating value and applying best practice and supply chain packaging excellence.

Your Key Accountabilities

Marketplace (20%)

  • Quality in packaging at all times
  • Contribution to quality focused internal reviews
  • Assistance with MEX implementation as required

Workplace (60%)

  • Operation of all packaging operations post disgorge room and filling/capping (washer/warmer/dryer, QC camera, hooder, labeller & carton multi unit)
  • Contribution to SOP management and compliance
  • Work as part of an achieving and engaged packaging team
  • Assistance with maintenance as required

People (20%) - Be an effective team member by:

  • Making safety a priority & supporting a safety first culture within the team
  • Contributing to team engagement plans
  • Completing all required capability modules within communicated timeframes
  • Proactively identify learning opportunities to continually develop myself
  • Ensuring role clarity and clear accountability for myself

Other Accountabilities Include

Other duties as directed.

Your Knowledge and Skills

  • Hold a current forklift licence
  • Willingness to grow through leader and peer coaching
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Contribute to building a highly technical achieving team through team building, training and assessment
  • Ability to assist in other areas operations as required

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years FMCG experience
  • Experience in automated wine packaging (desirable)
