Our client is a private practice located in Heidelberg attracting a highly skilled and acclaimed group of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists to provide specialist ultrasound services. With Melbourne enjoying yet another ‘baby boom’, this is a busy practice with long term stability and enduring high performance. To ensure the ongoing high quality of patient service, our client is looking to add a part time


to the team. 

The Role

Reporting to the Practice Manager, the


role will provide a mature and empathetic front of house service to all doctors, patients and visitors. The role is offered on a permanent part-time basis, 2 1/2 days per week - Wed, Thurs and a half day on Frid. Flexibility to cover leave for other staff is also required. The

Medical Receptionist

role is multifaceted and offers interesting administration variety, patient liaison and efficient appointment coordination and billing, as well as some procedure preparation and in rooms support for patients. 

About You

With previous experience as a


, you will have sound knowledge of specialist/surgical rooms and particular understanding of a referral based practice. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to connect with patients will come naturally to you. A team focused approach, and the ability to juggle many daily tasks in a busy healthcare environment, coupled with the maturity to work autonomously, your professional and friendly persona will round out your commitment to first class service. You will be tech savvy with experience in Genie or possess the nous required to learn this program.
