About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Assistant for a unique position within the Company.

Primarily you will assist the Managing Director in all aspects of managing Monford Group. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the main point of contact for the Managing Director dealing with correspondence and phone calls
  • Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments for work and family commitments
  • Take messages, create follow ups and action tasks where you can
  • Reminding the Managing Director of important tasks, meetings and deadlines
  • Bring order and organisation to the Managing Director’s life, so to allow for a work-life balance
  • Attend meetings when required to take minutes or prepare necessary documentation when required
  • Prioritize matters for the Managing Director and follow up on outstanding matters on his behalf.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements

Whilst the above are the core tasks of the role, the Managing Director also has multiple investments, businesses and property developments outside of Monford Group. At times you will be required to do ad-hoc tasks such as dealing with settlement agents, getting signed documents to the Bank, getting financial investors to act on something; Every day is different. You will also at times have to work alongside or for his wife/business partner who is an Accountant and is actively involved with the personal entities. Sometimes you will just need to buy a new shirt for the Managing Director so he can get to a meeting on time.

Travel is also a huge aspect of this role as your location will often change, your primary location will be the Monford Office, although you will also be located within the Managing Director’s home office. When you are not in the offices, you will have to run errands, complete site visits and attend client properties. No two days will be the same!!

About you:

  • Prior experience in a PA role is desirable for you to hit the ground running
  • Quick thinking on your feet, able to change plans last minute and switch around his diary to be the most time efficient it can be
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible with your location and travel
  • Efficient mindset, focused on being pro-active rather than re-active
  • Trustworthy and confidential
  • Willing to go the extra-mile and be invested in the role

This is a brand-new role, therefore whilst you settle in your responsibilities will be very ad-hoc whilst we all learn the ropes.
