MTIA is established as an Administrative Office under the Public Administration Act 2004 as a specialist organisation, comprising skilled and experienced staff across the various professional disciplines involved in transport infrastructure project delivery. Led by the Director-General, it has five key groups: Level Crossing Removal Project, Major Road Projects Victoria, the North East Link Project, Rail Projects Victoria and the West Gate Tunnel Project. The Minister for Transport Infrastructure is the responsible Minister for the projects which are developed and delivered by MTIA.

About this Opportunity

The Information Security Program Support Analyst is responsible for enabling the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority's (MTIA's) information security program, leveraging as appropriate from Department and WoVG frameworks and artefacts to directly support MTIA's mission. MTIA has a significant portfolio of business enabling projects that will uplift and replacement systems over the next three years. This role provides key information security leadership capability across MTIA ensuring the program provides appropriate oversight of information security (across information, ICT, personnel and physical security domains.

In alignment with and leveraging Department directives ensure MTIA appropriately implements VPDSF and addresses gaps identified by audits. This will be achieved by coordinating information and ICT security and resilience considerations throughout information asset and information systems lifecycles.

The Information Security Program Support Analyst will enable the delivery of the VPDSF improvement program through the development of artefacts to support both program (project) management and change management with the engagement of the subject matter experts.
