JOB DESCRIPTION
During the Boilermaking Apprenticeship, you will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding).
You would be gaining experience in the workplace with one of our host employers. Duties may include but not limited to:
- Examining detailed drawings to calculate material and equipment requirements
- Fixing and assembling metal fixtures
- Cutting, rolling, shaping and bending materials
- Heating and treating metal materials
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Drivers licence and own transport
