Your new company
You will be joining a large Federal Government department who are based in Brisbane CBD and provide support, programs and services to a range of clients. This department is outcomes focused and strives to enhance well-being and self-sufficiency for their clients.

Your new role
As the Claims Manager, you will be working in a team environment and be responsible for processing claims for compensation, rehabilitation and other benefits. You will facilitate payment for benefits, undertake provision of service management in relation to external providers, liaise with clients and internal/external stakeholder and develop, implement and monitor policies and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience managing a caseload and operating in high volume environments
  • Ideally you will have a claims background in areas such as work cover, insurance, finance or banking
  • An ability to interpret and apply legislation when assessing claims
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to fast changing environments
  • Motivated and committed to your ongoing training and development
