CSIRO Land and Water is seeking an experienced Field Instrumentation Specialist to join the Material Fluxes Team. The team quantify changes in water, soil, nutrients and vegetation to evaluate the influence of land management on the environment and the cost effectiveness of modifying management practices.
In this diverse role, you will provide technical and programming expertise to the team focussing on the development, deployment and maintenance of automated field and laboratory-based measurement systems to support the scientific research projects in terrestrial, freshwater and marine settings. In addition, you will also undertake the testing and calibration of the environmental sensors and measurement systems to ensure the data provided is high quality and reliable.
