Lead a faith based shared services organisation delivering leading-edge solutions to their members

CEnet Limited (CEnet) is a not-for-profit shared services company limited by guarantee for the advancement of the Roman Catholic faith. It is owned by 17 Catholic dioceses (the Members) connecting some 780+ schools and Diocesan communities. CEnet's user base comprises over 330,000 students, teachers and staff across metropolitan, regional and rural NSW, Qld, TAS, NT and the ACT.

Reporting to the Board, the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing leadership and management oversight across the organisation to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of CEnet. The CEO implements the strategy approved by the board and ensures that CEnet's structure and processes meet the strategic and cultural needs of the organisation and its Members.

CEnet offers its members leading-edge solutions and this role requires you to be an innovative and empowering leader with demonstrated ICT skills at a strategic rather than an operational level. You will understand the Shared Services space, and lead CEnet to the next level in achieving its vision of providing world-class, cost effective, services. You will be a leader who builds trust. You will have strong communication skills, be able to engage with stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to develop and nurture relationships. A proven track record of implementing important strategic outcomes within dynamic, complex and changing business environments is essential to your success. You will have demonstrated strategic and operational excellence, a consultative but decisive leadership style and have ethical values with a commitment to the Catholic ethos.

Further demonstrable skills will include a solid commercial understanding, exceptional execution skills that achieve high performance outcomes and an ability to engage people to deliver on a compelling vision. The skills of leadership, negotiation, familiarity with Catholic church structures and the nature of the Membership area are also desirable. Relevant tertiary qualifications are desired along with a commitment to ongoing self-development through education and participation in conferences and other relevant forums.

You will be required to travel to liaise with CEnet's members. CEnet's office is located in Wollongong and flexible working arrangements will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
