STORCO has established itself as the well-respected market leader in the manufacturing and distribution of self-storage systems throughout Australia and New Zealand; with an ever-growing range of products.

We are currently seeking several highly motivated Manufacturing Factory Hands to assist with the growth at our Orange facility. 

This is a hands-on role which will require communication skills and a level of maturity to be able to work both autonomously and within a team. An understanding of process knowledge, the ability to follow direction and see tasks through to completion, whilst remaining self-motivated and proactive is a must to be successful in the available roles.

Roles are regularly rotated to ensure a dynamic team, so flexibility and a willingness to learn other areas of the business is critical. The role does require the use of in-house software systems so a basic understanding of information technology is preferred, specifically an understanding of touch screen devices (eg smart phone, ipad), however training will also be provided.

Tasks within the role are physical and does require some level of fitness, and movement ability.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manufacturing of steel storage systems
  • Completing manufacturing paperwork for QA (quality assurance) purposes
  • Packing manufactured goods so they are warehouse ready to ship
  • General organisation and cleaning of the manufacturing areas
  • General maintenance of tools
  • Spot counts/stock rotation

  • A valid LF Forklift Licence is an advantage but not a must.

Standard operating days are 7.00am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday.

The position is casual for a short period (6 months) with the opportunity to go full time after this period for the right candidates.

The successful candidates must be fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills and basic computer skills. Full uniform supplied when converted casual to fulltime. Great team atmosphere and an exciting workplace.
