Lazarou Joinery has a vacancy for a Draftsperson with Cabinetry and CNC programming experience at their business in Cowra NSW , This is a permanent, full time position.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be expected to carry out the following duties;

• Assist Manufacturing by using CAD/CAM software to prepare the shop drawings and CNC programs for wood processing machinery.
• Control the input & output of CNC machines
• Control the Tooling of CNC Machines including one off tooling designs
• Create cut code for CNC Machines
• Produce detailed plans & instructions for assembly.
• Estimating material costs and quantities, and machine requirements
• Order materials based on drawings and specifications.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this position, you will have

• AQF Associate Degree or equivalent or relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years’ drafting experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience Detailing & Drafting Joinery.
• Be familiar with CNC Nesting machine programming & operation.
• Have experience in some of the following or similar software TopSolid`Wood, or Solidworks, Polyboard, SketchUp, CADCode, Draftsight & XILOG by SCM GROUP
• MS EXCEL
• MS ACCESS
• MS OUTLOOK

Remuneration

$50,000 to $60,000 per annum

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.

Detailed training will be provided for the successful applicant & this will be reflected in the commencement Salary package.
