As a Senior Manager, you will take a leading role in working with our clients to create meaningful and impactful solutions in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. You will also be responsible for managing the Sydney team, tracks of work, and play a leadership role in developing new business and client relationships.

Qualifications

You will...

Actively identify and define new opportunities to bring value to client engagements and ultimately help our clients businesses to succeed beyond a specific ask.
Recommend changes to experience, processes and systems to the client and prove where they provide measurable value to clients business and their customer.
Apply multiple customer research techniques - conduct stakeholder and customer interviews, surveys, contextual inquiries/field visits, ethnography, benchmark studies, industry and trend research.
Capture, translate, communicate and advocate findings from customer research to client stakeholders and internal teams.
Facilitate the creation of design artefacts - e.g. personas, as-is and future state customer journeys, service blueprints, storyboards, prototypes, etc.
Design, drive and facilitate co-design workshops with senior stakeholders leveraging design thinking methodologies. You are able to evolve, conceptualise and communicate new ideas using storytelling techniques.
Leverage ‘lean’ approaches that use the principles of design thinking to build strategies through continuous prototyping to test desirability.
Guide and coach designers and non-designers to support their development and uplift their design thinking capabilities in- and externally.
Lead teams of experience, service and visual designers on projects, mentor junior talent, and take an active role in driving culture via knowledge sharing, show and tells, and more. You will work with discipline leads to identify tools, templates, and techniques to evolve the ways of working in the experience practice.

About you...

You have built world-class Experience-led projects with tier-one brands and are an expert with a variety of processes and approaches like user-centered design methods, agile development, and lean UX.
You are both a practitioner and a leader. You are comfortable being on the tools in the full end to end process, but equally can step back and play an advisory role when called for.
You are commercially minded, you can identify and pursue new opportunities to bring value to client engagements.
You are able to see the big picture and conversely, also zoom in on the details to impactful moments of the customer experience.
You champion the customer and you are passionate about delivering meaningful experiences which positively impact the lives of customers.
You display empathy, intellectual curiosity and openness to learn about new industries, new fields, new disciplines and are excited by change and learning.
You consider your work as done when its implemented and continuously improving.
You lead by example.

Your qualifications...

Proven record of relevant experience in a leadership position from a consulting practice, digital agency, product firm, start-up, or a unique combination of these.
You have a strong understanding of design craft - particularly service design - and ideally roots in designing experiences and solutions for a range of digital products or services.
You have examples of work where you demonstrate your ability of complex problem solving, translating insights into opportunities to arrive at a design solution that created impact.
