An opportunity for a Senior Fund Operations Analyst has now become available at a leading global fund manager.

This diverse role will see you support the Fund Operations Manager with a range of operational tasks including

  • Overseeing service provider deliverables to ensure accuracy, and remediating operational issues to ensure regulatory obligations are met;
  • Liaising with the custodian to oversee performance fees, unit pricing, valuations, processing funds expenses and rebate payments and managing oversight of unit registry;
  • Facilitating investor onboarding, new fund set ups and closures, and operational due diligence;
  • Conducting and managing escalations relating to AML/KYC matters and client queries; and
  • Working closely with various stakeholders to facilitate process improvements and projects to deadlines.

Working in a small and dynamic team environment, you will be exposed to all facets of the business and funds operations. You will be a reliable team player, a self-starter with a natural enthusiasm for developing your career in funds management.

Technical Skills & Qualifications required include

  • 3+ years of experience in investment operations working at a fund manager or within custody;
  • Degree qualified with a strong understanding of the Australian investment market and products;
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing unit prices/NAVs and valuations is a must, handling of unit registry operations and ideally some exposure to middle office operations or a strong understanding of it will be highly regarded;
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, ability to work with global teams; 
  • Advanced excel capabilities and experience; and
  • Self-starter, team-player, problem solver and ability to manage competing deadlines
