About the role

Working within one of our Domestic and Family Violence programs, a Youth Education and Support Worker will provide effective and innovative programs and generalist casework services to young people who have experienced Domestic and Family violence.

This is a Max-term Full-time position, ending December 2021. Work may include occasional evenings or weekend work.


  • Domestic and Family Violence case management and education
  • Prevention and early intervention to youth experiencing Domestic and Family violence
  • Working collaboratively with health services, school and local community networks.

Skills & experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate area (eg: social work, youth work etc)
  • Experience working and engaging with young people aged 12-24 years old, including issues that affect at risk young people, such as drug and alcohol etc.
  • Understanding of Domestic Violence issues
  • Case Management experience
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence
