Position overview

Financial Shared Services is a unit within the Finance & Business Services Division that provides the University with financial transactional processing services. This includes Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payments, Debt Management, General Ledger and Reconciliation activities. Within Financial Shared Services, it is the Client Services Team that facilitates access to these services.

An opportunity exists for a Finance Assistant who will play a key role in Financial Shared Service’s day to day operations as a member of the Client Services Team. Applicants must be proactive in providing high quality client service, have strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team. They must also be well-organised and have good problem solving skills. Motivation, accuracy and efficiency are essential. An understanding of accounting and financial management practices are desirable.
