An opportunity exists for an experienced and high-functioning administrator to join the Human Resources Division. This is an exciting career development opportunity for a suitably qualified Executive Assistant/Human Resources Assistant looking for a chance to build on their interest in the field of Human Resources. Our ideal candidate will be highly organised, experienced working in fast paced and regularly changing environments; and have a keen interest in developing their knowledge of contemporary HR practices.

Position Overview

The Executive Assistant/Human Resources Assistant will be the first point of contact for phone, email and face-to-face queries for the Director, Human Resources. They will oversee diary management and venue coordination as well as assisting the HR teams with entry level human resources administrative support. The Executive Assistant/Human Resources Assistant has exposure to the full range of HR related activities undertaken at the University and may have the opportunity to participate in HR-led University-wide projects and initiatives.

To be successful you will have relevant experience in administrative roles, and demonstrated strong accuracy, attention to detail, problem solving skills, an ability to manage competing deadlines, and working effectively as part of a team.
