Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Technology Support Services’ (TSS) Office Support Specialist, in collaboration with the Firm TSS Department, supports the technological needs of the Brisbane Office. The TSS Office Support Specialist provides support for personal computers and peripherals, including but not limited to troubleshooting of defective or inoperable components, diagnosis and eventual replacement of defective components and assistance of end-users in the proper use of hardware and software. The TSS Office Support Specialist is responsible for the assembly, optimization and placement of personal computers, printers and other computer-related equipment. The TSS Office Support Specialist is responsible for the entry and maintenance of records in the appropriate Firm TSS system(s) used to track technology assets.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education, work experience, and training.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in computer-related field.
  • Highly developed and practical knowledge of personal computer hardware architecture and applications, including operating systems, application software, printers and other peripherals.
  • Knowledge of major personal computer applications, including personal computer operating systems, word processing editors, graphics software, spreadsheet programs and telecommunications software. Add, delete and modify voice over IP (VoIP).
  • Practical knowledge of office cabling plant. Ability to maintain wiring closest including connecting equipment to patch panels, network switches, PDUs, and servers racks. Practical knowledge of computer room UPS and HVAC.
