Clinical Nurse
Scrub/Scout – Opthamology
Permanent full time opportunity
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Clinical Nurse – Opthamology. This is an advanced level Registered Nurse role, acting as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse contributes to, and participates in, the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation, in-service and clinical programs.
The flexibility to work a rotating roster including afternoon and evening shifts will be crucial to this role.
About You
You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience within Theatre as a Scrub Scout Nurse. While leadership or management experience within a clinical setting will be highly desirable, this role will also suit an experienced Nurse looking to step up.
Essential
- Minimum three (3) years post-grad clinical experience as a Scrub Scout or in Opthamology
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times
- Postgraduate qualification(s) in a relevant perioperative speciality (highly regarded)
On Offer Is a Full Time Equivalent Salary Of
- $47.66 - $50.99 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4) [FTE $94 186.04 - $100 760.19]
