Looking to play an active role in shaping the future of healthcare in Australia? Operating at the intersection of two fast-growing industries - healthcare and technology, we are seeking an experienced payroll and accounts payable professional to join our small finance team. 

This is your chance to join and play a key role in supporting a team of forward-thinking, change-making individuals who are transforming healthcare experiences. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely and accurate processing of end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 100+ employees.
  • Management of all Single Touch Payroll, superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and workers’ insurance obligations.
  • Interpreting and applying a variety of Modern Awards.
  • Processing and payment of all supplier invoices, including matching of approved purchase orders.
  • Reconciliation and management of corporate credit cards and employee expense claims.
  • Attendance to all month-end payroll and accounts payable tasks including supporting other members of the team in their analysis and reporting.
  • Assisting the broader business with all payroll and accounts payable queries.

About You

You will be an outgoing and motivated individual who is committed to building relationships and providing support to your team and the broader business. 

You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where you must manage your own time effectively to meet the necessary deadlines.

You will have demonstrated experience in payroll and accounts payable for a similar size (or larger) organisation and won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo and strive for continuous improvement. 

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Significant experience in end-to-end payroll processes for a similar size (or larger) organisation
  • Demonstrable understanding and interpretation of relevant Modern Awards
  • 3+ years previous experience in a fast-paced accounts payable environment including an understanding of general accounting principles and practices, 
  • Experience using computerised financial systems and Microsoft Office, specifically intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
