JOB DESCRIPTION

The Program Director directs high quality services to achieve business performance outcomes, optimum levels of service delivery, standards and compliance requirements with a focus on enhancing client experience consistent with the organisations vision, values and objectives.

More specifically, the Program Director will work closely with the Director, HPCA to implement reform and activities arising from recommendations that have been made to change structures, improve processes and develop quality management frameworks, tools and resources to bring greater efficiency and timeliness to the management of complaints about registered health practitioners. The role will also work closely with the health professional Councils and other health practitioners who undertake regulatory work on behalf of the Councils to implement these changes.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience and training.
  • Extensive senior management experience in a large organisation / business at an executive level preferably within health or regulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direction to deliver quality services in a complex and high-pressured environment.
