The Team

The International Sports team manage pricing, creation and settlement of markets for US Basketball, Baseball and other US Sports. We adjust odds based on numerous factors and develop trading strategies. We have low egos, love the fast-paced environment and are passionate about our culture.

The role

You will play an important role in increasing the Flutter Group’s coverage and performance on live betting with an initial focus on MLB and College Basketball. This includes pricing up markets and manage the groups liabilities and risk position on these events;

• Trading and driving automated odds and managing market risk for those events
• React to customer information globally
• Focussing on Live Baseball and College Basketball but also being required to cover other sports (NBA and NFL) on a case-by-case basis
• Personal and Team Live Betting KPI’s
• Continuously monitor and respond to sports information
• Manage Company risk on these markets to hit commercial targets

Availability:

• Require full availability during MLB Season
• Start time from 6.30 am (8-hour Shifts)
• Must be available to work weekends

You

Your closest friends and family best describe you as a US sports fanatic with a head for numbers, you react quickly in a high pressure fast paced environment.

The successful applicants will play a key role in supporting the growth of our US business FanDuel where we’ve seen an unprecedented demand for live betting, which is responsible for approximately 50% of turnover.

• A strong knowledge and Interest of American Sports including Baseball and College Basketball
• Prior industry experience is advantageous but not necessary
• Highly numerate with a good understanding of probability and bookmaking
• Ability to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment
• You have a customer first attitude and constantly strive to improve customers’ experience.
