The Position
St John of God Berwick Hospital provides a wide range of services caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including maternity, medical and surgical; offering state of the art equipment and facilities to our rapidly growing community.

We are currently seeking applications from motivated and experienced Registered Nurses (Grade 2 Year 3) with a passion for delivering high quality patient care, and excellent interpersonal skills, to join our Medical and Palliative Care Unit.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing optimal patient care. You will work in close collaboration with all members of the health care team including medical practitioners and allied health practitioners.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience and will be committed to ongoing education and self-directed learning.
This position is being offered on a permanent basis, working 60 hours per fortnight. Applicants must qualified with a minium grading of Grade 2 year 3.
The successful candidate will have:

- Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Current understanding of legislation and standards related to OH&S, Compliance issues, Workcover.
