About the role
Due to internal promotion within the Strategic Procurement team, we are now seeking an Analyst Categories to join our close knit team in Brisbane on a permanent full time basis. As an Analyst Categories you will be a vital member of the Strategic Procurement team responsible for delivering analytical support, as well as facilitating end to end procurement activities across Airbus Australia Pacific.
Reporting to the Manager Aeronautical Procurement you can anticipate some of your day-to-day activities to include:

* Performing analysis of supplier spend
* Conducting planning, sourcing, contract and supplier management for assigned category contracts
* Developing and maintaining team reports
* Contributing to team initiatives and improvement projects
* Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and risk

About you
The skills and experience best suited to this role:

* 2+ years' experience in an analytical role, supporting procurement activities
* Experience conducting sourcing and/or contract management activities
* Strong analytical skills, including interpreting and drawing conclusions from complex data
* Strong Excel and MS Office skills with experience using enterprise finance systems e.g. SAP
* Proactive approach and positive response to change
* Well-developed interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail, time management and coordination skills
