The Opportunity

This is a fantastic, newly created opportunity for an outcome driven and customer service focused Export Scheduler to join our Centralised Paper Planning team in Somerton.
The Role
Reporting to the National Intermodal Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all functions in relations to the planning of all export packing and rail movements for all loads leaving our flagship paper plant in Tumut NSW.
Further to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning the collection of empties to suit the scheduled rail services
- Maintaining the daily packing plan exiting our Tumut warehouse and ensure all containers packed within relevant timeframe to rail back to Sydney and delivered to the relevant terminal
- Ensuring the daily packing plan aligns with the Tumut container shuttles and any shortfalls are addressed to reschedule the fleet with the operations team
- Identifying and notifying the relevant parties of any risk/misses to the current booking schedules
What you will bring to the team:
- Prior experience within inventory planning/scheduling/allocation ideally within the manufacturing industry
- Good inventory experience from within a multi warehouse and production environment
- Technically savvy with solid computer skills especially Excel and/or Google sheets
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
- Be a highly motivated, driven and organised individual who masters the art of prioritising
- An analytical mindset with the ability to multi task in a high-pressure environment
