Duratec is a multi-disciplined builder and maintenance contractor with over 15 branches across Australia servicing the Defence, Mining, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Marine industries along with Government assets and Commercial Infrastructure including Heritage buildings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Due to an ever-growing portfolio of awarded contracts within our Western Australian project teams, we are currently seeking experienced Abrasive Blasting & Protective Coating Professionals to work on various Fly in Fly out rosters from Perth for upcoming projects across Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland, and Karratha.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Abrasive blasting operation
- Spray industrial and protective coating systems, including polyurea products
- Ability to apply coating systems to a specification
- Set-up and run own equipment
ABOUT YOU
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar mine site role - Preferred
- Demonstrated experience with airless, conventional and/or plural pump equipment – A definite advantage
- Ability to pass all pre-employment medicals and D&A requirements – A must
- Current construction white card
- Proactive, good timekeeping and reliable
- Work to the highest standard to maintain productivity and sustain a high level of safety
- Ability to obtain a police clearance
