The Client:

Our client is a market Leading Global Organisation specialising in the delivery of a variety of Facilities Management Services. Having recently gone through some changes in senior management they are well financed and are reputed throughout their industry as delivering the best service levels within their sector.

They have seen steady growth in both revenues and GP in recent years and now looking to recruit a Key Account Manager to look after Commercial & Industrial End Users and Facilities Management Providers.

The Role:

You will be based from Melbourne and the focus of your customer base is in the metro area, however you will be required to travel regionally on occasion.

The role will be focused on networking around a portfolio of commercial and industrial end users from a single site Hospitals or University to Manufacturing facilities or multi-site retailers.

You will be responsible for relationship management with the key decision makers, formulating strategic Account Plans and growing the accounts outside of the SLA.

They have a strong brand in the market and often the sale is led by compliance requirements so often the fact that you will be representing the market leader will be of paramount importance to your ability to hit your targets.

As such this is a key role and requires an exceptionally strong candidate to fit the role.

The Candidate:

You will be a seasoned professional, you will thrive in a senior role where you are able to structure and implement your own Account Growth strategy.

It is also likely that you will also have experience in selling a facilities service and/or service contracts, however direct industry experience is not a pre-requisite if you can demonstrate high level service based B2B sales experience in a technical field.

Backgrounds of particular interest will be candidates who have sold large service contracts on lifts, HVAC, Fire Systems, Cleaning Contracts, Pest Control, Property Maintenance etc.
