Responsibilities

• Approves new equipment by conducting tests, ensuring adherence to codes and making modifications;
• Helping clinical customers achieve quality outcomes;
• Ordering of spare parts, cost estimates;
• Carry out field services;
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, conducting tests and troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions.
• Manage calls for special equipment service, evaluates service contracts and maintains equipment inventories.
• Evaluates proposed equipment by conducting tests and evaluations.
• Provide technical service and repairs to in-house and onsite customers including equipment maintenance, QA control and service support including telephone/email support
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
• Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains clients confidence by keeping them in the loop of your progress.
• Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending and complying with procedures, training and guidance;

Skills and Qualifications

• Medical/Science/Engineering background
• Preferable to have knowledge in of biomedical equipment in a Hospital environment
• Must have a current valid drivers licence

Work Rights & Salary

Must have Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship;

Salary ($75,000 - $100,000) negotiable depending on experience;
