An outstanding opportunity has presented itself to join our client in the Healthcare industry, located in Parkville on a 10 month Maternity Leave Contract.

As the HR Advisor, you will work as part of an established and supportive team of HR Advisors and HR Business Partners and will provide advice and guidance to line managers and employees across employment matters including interpretation of enterprise agreements, awards, policy and procedures.

You will work closely with a HR Business Partner to support the employee lifecycle and will bring hands-on operations, administration, advisory and employee relations experience to deliver timely solutions to the organisation. You enjoy working as part of a team, have a flexible and service focused approach and are a team player at heart.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide support and guidance to team members and line managers on a diverse range of ER matters.
  • Oversee recruitment related activity including internal and external job advertising, contract preparation, new starter paperwork and variations for current employees.
  • Manage and coordinate internal movements and contract variations, applying the correct awards and EBA to reflect changes.
  • Assist with position description development and recruitment processes, as required.
  • Liaise with payroll, managers and employees to ensure timely processing and resolution of pay related matters.
  • HR project support across positive workplace behaviours, graduate recruitment and capability development.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR Advisor position within the Health care or medical industry.
  • Experience handling a diverse range of ER matters.
  • Experience or exposure of Health industry awards and agreements.
  • Strong capability to interpret awards and varied EBA's.
  • Experience with SAP or Succesfactors would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills.
  • Sense of urgency to prioritise and assess enquiries effectively.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure and challenging environment.
