WHO ARE WE? 

Epicon is an up and coming commercial builder in Melbourne's West. We are customer focused and pride ourselves on time’ delivery of our products and client satisfaction.

Our diverse products include construction and development of shopping precincts, hotels,office buildings as well as residential apartments and heritage listed developments. 

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Help create new infrastructure in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. 
• Review design roads, lots, drainage, water and sewer infrastructure. There are also opportunities, pump stations and other associated infrastructure.
• Check designs are compliant with the design disciplines of the project.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team with project managers, senior engineers, drafts people and other specialised departments.
• Confirm plans, computations and documentation for projects in accordance with the client brief and local standards, within specified budgets and time schedules.
• Liaise directly with relevant stakeholders, including clients, councils and local authorities in a timely and efficient manner.
• Create work breakdowns for trade packages 

WHAT DOES EPICON NEED TO CONSIDER YOU FOR THIS ROLE ?

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil or or relevant equivalent)
• Minimum of two years’ in relevant role 
• Strong knowledge of local design standards and water authority codes
• Proficient design skills and working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Good working knowledge of construction sequence and building regulations
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to problem solve
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Computer literacy
