About the role 

Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a position that will allow the successful individual to positively impact the core business functions. The ideal candidate will have had experience in a similar HR role, be energetic and have the ability to problem solve as well as experience operating in environments where they are heavily relied upon to undertake a multitude of tasks.
Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Preparation of employment contracts and employment letters as well as contract extensions
  • Managing the businesses leave management system
  • Assisting with recruitment including: phone screening and reference checks
  • Designing and implementing HR systems and policies
  • Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders including recruitment agencies, employer and employee organisations, internal department heads as well as any other relevant points of contact
  • On boarding and off boarding staff
  • Administration support to the HR manager as well as wider business
  • Maintenance of data integrity to reflect movement within the business
  • As well as other ad hoc duties as required

Skills / Experience

Experience working in a similar HR role will be highly regarded as well as:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification or at least 2 years’ experience
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Overall great team player
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Discretion in relation to confidential information

This business is looking for an experienced and forward thinking HR professional to join their dynamic and stable culture. This is a temporary position that will run until the 31st of March and requires an individual that will bring a "can do" attitude to a tight-knit team.
