The Opportunity

Due to growth, Veolia ANZ is currently looking for a passionate and driven Area Sales Manager to join the Team in Arndell Park. We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who is located in Sydney and is confident in managing a territory within the Sydney area. You would be joining a competitive and hardworking Sales Team and reporting into the Field Manager.

We are looking for someone who has experience in Sales (including cold calling and business development), has excellent verbal and written communication skills and has the ambition to exceed weekly targets which will help increase Veolia's Market share within Total Waste Services.

You will be responsible for
  • Proactively drive sales revenue opportunities and maintain margins within defined parameters
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline with forecast opportunities identified as short, medium- and long-term prospects
  • Adhere to sales processes and expectations
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers and marketplace within the defined territory
  • Identify new development opportunities, leads or other changes and action in accordance with Veolia policy and procedure
  • Monitor the satisfaction levels of customers to provide a quality service that meets or exceeds their expectations
  • Pitch the Veolia Value Proposition to clients and prospects
  • Identify and Re-Sign Expired Agreements as directed
  • Meet weekly KPI's

What you'll need to be successful
  • Diploma of Business, or equivalent workplace experience
  • Sales experience - business development, cold calling, client facing sales
  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Proven skills in managing multiple and competing stakeholder requirements
  • Excellent communication and self-motivation skills
  • Focus on building on new and existing relationships
  • High level analysis, problem-solving skills, and negotiating skills
  • Effective networking skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable
  • Experience in maintaining a CRM (desirable)
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Must own fully maintained and reliable vehicle
