College Canteen Assistants -
Chalkboard Catering is seeking dynamic, motivated hands on canteen assistant for our college canteen located in Frankston South
Term 1 2021 immediate start
The position will require you to have experience in a café/ canteen environment.
You will be responsible for preparing and production of menu items, customer service including cash handling, food safety and cleaning, stock control and will assist manager as necessary.
Cooking skills and catering/function experience with an eye for customer focus would benefit your application.
As this is a secondary college, you must have (or commit to obtaining) a current working with children certificate (E) and food handlers’ certificate. You must also be able to work autonomously and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times within the college community.
Further you must have a positive can-do attitude, be self-motivated and forward thinking to be successful in this position.
You will be directly employed by Chalkboard Catering and will be paid as per Fast Food Modern Industry award 2010. This position is paid through school terms only and on Public Holidays that fall during school terms (please note you will not be paid during term breaks).
