Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed, highly analytical operational leader to join as Senior Program Manager - Operations Projects in Australia. Your primary role will be to lead our flagship program improving Glance View (GV) Speed for our customers which will have significant exposure to Senior Leadership and will work across many cross functional teams driving optimization through multiple levers including promise policy, selection and inventory placement, outbound optimization and FC and transportation capacity.

You will be the voice of our customers and own the Speed goals, planning and reporting of results to Senior Leadership that are critical inputs in to the financial performance, growth, long-term plan, and scalability of the Australia business. This role can be based in our Sydney or Melbourne office, is highly-visible, and works closely with peers from HQ in Seattle and around the world.

Key responsibilities of the role:
· Accountable for the performance of AU GV Speed to country leadership. Understands and manages performance against all elements of the GV Speed framework, acting on both direct levers under his/her control and indirect levers under others' control but still impacting GV Speed.
· Audits DEX, Transportation and Supply chain and creates mechanisms to help identify key behaviors and pain points. Uses insights from this process to drive improvements through direct and supporting teams.
· Implements strategies that drive financial results and accelerate selection growth.
· Manages projects or programs on an ongoing basis that impact the broader business, potentially beyond GV Speed/Vostok and/or Australia.


· Completed Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, IT, or related field
· Experience in operations and/or management consulting / product / operations
· Highly organized and results oriented
· The ability to concurrently think strategically and drive the detailed execution of initiatives
· Strong analytical skills with the ability and appetite to get deep into the data when required
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to interact with and influence senior leaders
