About Us

The role of the Justice Services is to work in collaboration with program areas and communities to deliver justice services that are efficient, effective and integrated around community and client needs.

The Justice Service Centres deliver Justice Operations and Community Engagement Services to the community. Each Justice Service Centre has a dedicated team of Justice Officers that ensure the efficient delivery of administration, operational support and reception services in a team environment.

About the Role

The Justice Officer Team Leader leads a team of Justice Officers at the Justice Service Centre while ensuring operational and administrative support and client services are provided and the effective and efficient delivery of Justice Operations and Community Engagement services are delivered from the Justice Service Centres.

On a day-to-day basis, the Justice Officer Team Leader will:

  • supervise a team of Justice Officers as they deliver operational, administrative and client services
  • assist with incident management as a member of the Incident Response Team
  • assist in the management of the physical assets of the Justice Service Centre
  • authorise building access to Contractors & visitors
  • monitor service delivery standards, identify emerging service delivery issues and recommend appropriate and timely solutions.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will:

  • have a background leading a multi-disciplinary service delivery team
  • have proven experience in a service delivery role and understanding of 'service excellence'
  • be able to resolve problems and adapt to a changing environment
  • be able to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities
  • have knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations
  • well developed skills using the MS Office Suite and in-house packages.
