In these full-time, part-time and casual Registered (RN) and Enrolled Endorsed Nursing (EEN) roles reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager you will work in a perioperative setting in the operating rooms at Epworth Hawthorn. You will also have opportunities to work at our sister campus in Epworth Richmond - during decreased activity periods at Richmond.

To be successful in this role…
You will have some existing skills in a perioperative setting. You will be looking to build on your existing skills whilst being well supported to develop and grow.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Relevant recent experience in your area of speciality; Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU or Surgical nursing
  • Clear and concise documentation skills

The Perioperative Suite comprises 3 theatres and 2 procedure rooms, Recovery, a Short Stay with 8 acute surgical beds all located on one floor, giving a unique patient journey from admission to discharge. Epworth Hawthorn specialises in plastics, urology, orthopaedics and reproductive therapy.
