Job Brief
We are currently seeking a National Payroll Officer to manage our end- to-end payroll processes from our Head Office in Doncaster.

We are currently seeking a National Payroll Officer to manage our end- to-end payroll processes from our Head Office in Doncaster.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- End-to-end; weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for 450 staff across 8 sites Australia wide and 1 in NZ
- Processing of superannuation and PAYG
- Monthly payroll reporting and GL Reconciliations
- Data entry and Data checking
- Day-to-day administration including new hires, terminations, updating employee records
- Improvement of payroll systems and procedures
- Ensuring company compliance with employment law, superannuation requirements and tax legislation
- Comply with company’s internal controls and provide information to both internal and external auditors
- Financial reporting to assist the finance department
- Answering internal queries relating to payroll
- Must have experience in a large professional organisation processing high-volume end-to-end payroll for a minimum for 300+ staff
- High-level proficiency in payroll processes, Microsoft applications (Word and Excel) and MYOB Pay Global (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with time and attendance systems also highly regarded
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, ATO rules and superannuation
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines with resilience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
