JOB DESCRIPTION
Industry Protective Wear is a global supplier of high quality protective goods for import and export. During Covid-19, our business has focused on establishing much needed personal protective equipment (PPE) to businesses and countries in need.
This internship is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in international trade relations, account management, supply chain logistics and procurement. The position will be unpaid and will last for 3 months. During the internship, the intern will receive training and mentorship. However, candidates who excel in either the interview or during their internship will be offered a paid position.
There are no requirements for the position. However, the ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and an ability to work well in a team. Due to our belief in a fair workplace, we are looking to maintain an equal ratio of men and women and encourage all to apply.
Skills that would be helpful include:
- Familiarity with the Microsoft suite - Teams, sharepoint and outlook.
- Experience in dealing with sales CRMs - pipedrive is our CRM.
- Previous experience working in a team.
- Previous experience conversing with clients on the phone.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview. Please note we will not be accepting remote candidates as the training is hands on.
