Our Edenhills Barnawartha Client Care team is growing and we are looking for a dedicated and compassionate animal lover looking to fulfil our clients' needs in pet aftercare and to support our purpose in "Honouring a lifetime of unconditional love."

Being a small office, you will have the opportunity to complete tasks for both the Client Care and Keepsake Preparation teams. This position can be both a rewarding and emotional role which requires professionalism.

About the role:

  • Coordinate and schedule bookings with both the public and vet clinics
  • Prepare and assist with pet viewings
  • Assist clients who bring their pets to the office
  • Carry out accurate data entry and payment processing
  • Facilitate a general range of office tasks
  • Place pets ashes into our keepsake offerings such as urns, jewellery, or wooden boxes
  • Unpack boxes of stock and stock management and replenishment

This role can be physical and you will be on your feet for a significant part of the day.

We are looking for a person who:

  • Can talk to clients over the phone using excellent communication skills, with a clear, professional, understanding and empathetic phone manner
  • Has thorough attention to detail
  • Has intermediate written and computer skills (Microsoft Office experience preferable)
  • Has at least 5 years proven office experience
  • Will be comfortable occasionally handling deceased pets
  • Is fit and strong for manual handling duties
  • Is reliable, trustworthy and take pride in your work
  • Is naturally organised and a neat and tidy worker
  • Can adapt quickly to changing circumstances and handle in a calm and professional manner.
