St Stephens Hospital are inviting applications from Senior Physiotherapists to join their Allied Health Team in a Permanent Full Time position!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional to not only join a highly collaborative and supportive multi-disciplinary team at St Stephen’s Hospital and our new state-of-the-art facility, but to also enjoy the Queensland coastal lifestyle and all that the Fraser Coast has to offer!

About the Role:

Our purpose built, fully equipped rehabilitation unit offers personalised treatment programs for both acute and chronic conditions. We offer services in Orthopaedics, Reconditioning, Neurological, Cardiac, Musculoskeletal and Falls Prevention and Management. With a 20-bed inpatient service as well as day therapy and outpatient and cardiac rehabilitation; our programs are goal-oriented and based on the individualised needs of our patients.

As an experienced practitioner, you’ll demonstrate a commitment to delivering person-centred, empathetic care through customer service and our values. You will provide a high level of knowledge and expertise across one or more clinical areas to ensure excellent in the provision of services. You’ll have an open, collaborative approach when working in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary team and present with:

  • Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience within an acute setting
  • Exceptional time-management skills, with ability to manage diverse casemix
  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Previous team leadership experience, including mentoring of junior clinicians preferable
