About the role
The Workforce Coordinator role exists to facilitate quality support arrangements for the people annecto supports. These supports are scheduled in the home and in the community. This position is responsible for ensuring supports are provided in accordance with a person’s individual plan, through the appropriate matching of Support workers, rostering of scheduled services and the ongoing review of rostered supports.
As an annecto team member you will show a commitment to supporting individuals to reach their goals in life and provide support services in a manner that respects their quality of life, dignity and human rights.
What are we looking for?
To be considered for this opportunity you should have:
- Awareness and demonstrated commitment to principles of Person Centered care;
- Previous experience in developing and maintaining rosters;
- Experience in the supervision of a diverse support workforce;
- Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively as a member of a professional, culturally diverse team;
- Knowledge of and experience in administering the NDIS claiming processes;
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Current Victorian Driver’s licence.
What would be great to have?
- Experience working with client management systems e.g. CareLink/Alayacare;
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant health/disability/social sciences;
- An ability to speak a community language/s;
- Experience working in a similar capacity in a community based not-for-profit organisation.
