Mix of wear work, rubber lining / spray painting and sand blasting work. $30 to $40 per hour, plus time and half and double time penalties.

The Company:

Our client requires an experienced Wear Technician to join their team in central NSW.

The position is residential based, work will involve Rubber Lining, Spray Painting and Blasting.
Daily Duties:

• Performing rubber lining, painting and sand blasting maintenance and repair work
• Working in a mid-size team to strict OH&S standards
• Occasional site visits locally but majority of the work is in the factory
• Stripping rubber from machinery, fault find and repair, testing work
• Measuring, cutting, buffing and prep work
• Sand blasting and rubber lining on machinery (screens, chutes, straight pipes, tanks, vessels and more)
• Ensure the rubber lining process is effective and safe

What you require to apply:

• Trade qualified / Polymer Processing (Rubber lining) preferred
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Australian Driver’s License
• Forklift, dogging and rigging license advantageous
• Over time work available 6 out of the 12
