How will I help?

You’ll be playing a critical role in achieving Westpac’s vision to support and strengthen our community in Queensland through your sales and relationship management within Consumer Banking. You’ll onboard and manage Workplace & Multicultural Banking Partnerships to drive 1st party mortgage growth.

Working closely with the National Manager, Workplace & Multicultural Banking, you will forge new alliance segments and referrals from existing customers to identify new relationships and business as you develop, acquire, and maintain partnerships to achieve customer acquisition and business growth. A proactive approach to your own and subscribed networking activities, partnerships, client opportunities will be important. You will be tasked with building strong relationships as a trusted partner whilst strengthening your connection with our internal partners.

From the little details to the big wins, you’ll be a constant customer advocate and business partner to the business, you’ll set the benchmark for what can be achieved when you’re genuinely invested in our overall plan and strategy.

What do I need?
Ability to attract new relationships and business are a must-have. Mortgage Lending knowledge is highly regarded – as you’ll be using those to not only grow our 1st Party Mortgage but to empower the broader team to grow. You’ll know how to tap into new business opportunities in your networks and can develop strategies and call plans to deliver better results. All while possessing the self-motivation that’s needed to genuinely lead the way forward. Presenting and communicating directly to senior levels (CEO, CFO) at organisations will not be foreign to you as you strive for results through excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills. Having the versatility to present to large groups or through virtual methods, you are able to influence the target audience with ease.
