About the role

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Located in Nowra administration building.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.


Reporting directly to the Strategic Property Manager - City Futures, the focus of this position is to:

  • To support the activities and actions of the Strategic Property Manager in the context of achieving short-term (activation) and strategic long-term (end out comes) goals that support Council’s aspirations for improving ongoing service delivery and objectives of the Property Strategy.

In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in any of the following: Land Economy; Valuation; Real Estate; Law; Business; and/or equivalent experience and related skills.

  • An understanding of a diversified portfolio of properties – commercial, industrial, residential and other.

  • Knowledge of financial management and budgetary processes.

  • Knowledge in financial project and contract management principles.

  • Class C Driver’s Licence.
