About Our Client:
Our client provide world class earth moving and equipment maintenance services. With a team of specialized and safety focused maintenance technicians our client has established operations in Australia and across the world including Africa, South America and Asia.
About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking experienced and trade qualified Diesel Fitters to join our client's team at their mining maintenance operations north east of Emerald in Queensland's Central Highlands region.
You will join the existing motivated and skilled team providing scheduled servicing, fault finding, repair and break down response on the sites fleet of dump trucks, dozers, graders and excavators. You will be engaged through WorkPac on a contract basis to follow the sites 7:7 roster with camp and meals provided.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Focused and committed to upholding all safety standards and procedures
• Follow site maintenance schedule and processes
• Carry out inspections and servicing
• Ability to test and diagnose faults in both workshop and field environment
• Component overhauls
• Complete reporting tasks
• Communicate with leadership team on maintenance issues

Skills and Experience:

• Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter
• Previous Mine Maintenance Experience - preferred
• Knowledge and experience working on CAT 789, KOM 930 trucks, Liebherr 996b excavator
• Current Drivers Licence
• Standard 11
• Coal Board Medical
• Right to Work - Australia
